My family is spending the weekend at my boss's cabin way out in the boonies. The boys have been out hunting with no luck, but I am enjoying sitting in the recliner next to the fire, doing absolutely nothing! So today is the perfect day to be national peppermint patty day since I'm not home to bake anything. I always keep mini York patties at the house because they are the perfect little snack when you are craving something sweet. I like to have one after dinner as a little pick me up. I have noticed that the holiday ones seem to be more soft and creamy than the regular ones. Right now, I have heart shaped patties with pink filling for Valentines Day. Enjoy one today!
